In a desperate search effort, authorities in Indiana have been tirelessly scouring the area for Bryson Muir, the 14-year-old son of former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Daniel Muir, who has been missing for the last two weeks. Indiana State Police issued a Silver Alert on Friday, expressing concerns for Bryson's welfare.
Relatives last saw Bryson on June 16, when his mother drove him away from his grandmother's Ohio home. However, within minutes, local police stopped the vehicle and discovered that Bryson was nowhere to be found. Consequently, an investigation into the teen's parents, Daniel and Kristin Muir, has been launched after Bryson's grandmother presented officials with a photograph allegedly showing the boy's blackened and swollen eye.
With Bryson's height measuring 6-foot-2 and his weight approximating 185 pounds, authorities believe that he is in immediate danger. He was last seen wearing an orange Under Armour shirt and a pair of blue jeans. As a result, both parents have been designated as persons of interest in the case.
Recent local reports suggest that Daniel and Kristin Muir had initially agreed to bring Bryson to Indianapolis State Police headquarters for an interview with detectives to confirm his well-being. However, only an hour before the scheduled meeting, they backed out abruptly, which has raised concerns among state police that they may be unwilling to cooperate fully with the investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Bryson Muir's whereabouts to contact the Indiana State Police immediately. The search efforts continue as authorities hope for a swift resolution to this troubling case and the safe return of the missing teenager.
