**Attorney Alleges Cover-Up in Sean "Diddy" Combs Rape Case**

An attorney representing an alleged rape victim of Sean "Diddy" Combs claims to be facing significant obstacles in pursuing legal action and obtaining an investigation into the case. Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the attorney for the accuser, expressed her disbelief during an interview with NewsNation's "Banfield," asserting that it appears a cover-up might be occurring.

Mitchell-Kidd disclosed harrowing details of the alleged 2018 incident involving her client and the prominent music mogul. She recounted how her client, after contacting her a few weeks ago, described the ordeal of being assaulted and her subsequent escape. According to Mitchell-Kidd, the incident occurred at a friend's house with industry connections when Combs unexpectedly arrived.

The victim reportedly realized that Combs had intentions of sex trafficking her upon his arrival. Mitchell-Kidd described how her client was given a drink that made her feel disoriented, after which Combs allegedly sexually assaulted her using an inanimate object. Furthermore, he purportedly instructed another man to assault her as well, while he watched and gratified himself.

The victim managed to flee the scene and a neighbor is said to have witnessed her escape. Although she initially reported the assault to police without naming Combs, she later provided his identity, according to Mitchell-Kidd.

Combs is currently awaiting his court appearance in a New York City jail, following an indictment on three felony charges last week. Mitchell-Kidd's allegations form part of a broader federal investigation that has uncovered troubling accusations against Combs, including multiple claims of abuse and sexual assault spanning over three decades.

Since his indictment, several prominent figures have criticized Combs, and an additional alleged victim has filed the eleventh lawsuit against him. In response to his arrest, Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, urged the public to withhold judgment until all facts are established, emphasizing that Combs has been cooperative with the investigation.
