An Arizona man is currently being sought by authorities as an investigative lead for making threats to kill a presidential candidate. The Cochise County Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday that they had been made aware of threatening statements posted on social media by the individual, identified as Ronald Syvrud, directed towards a candidate.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Syvrud has outstanding warrants related to DUI charges, felony hit and run, and failing to register as a sex offender.
