In a tragic incident, a 31-year-old man was discovered dead inside a vehicle on Sunday morning in downtown Louisville, according to the Louisville Metro Police. The victim, identified as Devontae Beach, had sustained gunshot wounds.

The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. on West Main Street, with the police promptly responding to a report of a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, officers found Beach inside the vehicle, critically injured from gunshot wounds.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called to the scene in an attempt to save Beach's life, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The precise circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department's Homicide Unit.
