13 Injured in Overnight Mass Shooting in Montgomery

The incident occurred at a crowded party in the area of North Pass Road and Alabama River Parkway early Sunday morning.
According to Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed, the shooting involved a staggering number of over 600 rounds being fired at the packed gathering. Nine people were shot, while four others sustained injuries during the ensuing chaos. Authorities, including the Montgomery Police Department, ATF, and FBI, are currently investigating the incident and conducting interviews with witnesses and suspects.
Fortunately, all nine shooting victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, including three juveniles. A woman and a boy were transported to the hospital from the scene, while three men, two women, and two other boys had already arrived there by private vehicle prior to the arrival of first responders.
As the investigation unfolded, it was revealed that in addition to the shooting victims, four more individuals sought medical attention at the emergency room. Among them, a woman and two men were involved in a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Another woman arrived with minor injuries caused by broken glass.
At this time, no suspects or motive have been disclosed by the authorities, emphasizing the ongoing nature of the investigation. Mayor Reed has vowed to release additional information as it becomes available, urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and help put an end to such senseless and violent incidents.
