Traverse City Police conducted two search warrants on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal surveillance activities. The targeted locations included a private residence on the 100 block of N. Oak St. and Morsels, a local business situated on E. Front St.
Although a suspect has been identified, no arrests have been made thus far. The Traverse City Police Department has refrained from disclosing further details about the investigation, citing its sensitive nature.
One of the search warrants was executed at Morsels, a popular downtown business located in the 300 block of East Front Street. As a result, the establishment is currently closed to provide the police department with ample space to conduct their investigation thoroughly.
The Traverse City Police Department emphasizes that there are no safety concerns for the public related to these search warrants. Once the investigation at Morsels concludes, the business will be released back to its owners.
Further updates regarding this criminal investigation are expected to be provided at noon. The Traverse City Police Department encourages the public to stay tuned for more information as the investigation progresses.
