Tragic Shooting Incident Claims Life of Teenage Boy in Birmingham Home

In a devastating turn of events, a 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder in the tragic shooting of his 15-year-old cousin, Markell Sanders, inside an east Birmingham residence. The suspect's identity is being withheld due to his age.
The incident took place on January 14 when Markell's mother made a frantic call to 911 at 12:16 a.m., reporting that her son had been shot.
