LAS VEGAS - Three teenage suspects appeared in adult court on Friday morning, facing murder charges in connection with the deadly beating of Jonathan Lewis, a student near Rancho High School. Dontral Beaver (16), Gianni Robinson (17), and Damien Hernandez (17) made their initial appearance in court, where it was revealed that the four suspects will be tried together.

Lewis tragically lost his life on Tuesday, November 7, due to injuries sustained in the attack, as confirmed by the Clark County coroner's office. The cause of death was listed as complications of multiple blunt force injuries, with the manner of death classified as a homicide.

The horrifying incident was recorded on video, which quickly went viral, shocking the community. According to LVMPD Lt. Jason Johannson, Jonathan Lewis was defenseless and unconscious on the ground when the assault occurred.

During a news conference on Tuesday, November 14, Lt. Johannson stated that all individuals involved, believed to be approximately 10, were students at Rancho High School. He described the video as "void of humanity" but noted that there was no evidence suggesting the attack was a hate crime.

Law enforcement authorities have made significant progress in identifying those responsible. By Tuesday, November 14, police had already identified eight of the ten individuals believed to be involved, resulting in their arrest. The suspects, who are all between the ages of 13 and 17, are currently facing legal proceedings.

In addition to the three teenagers who appeared in court on Friday, Treavion Randolph (16) is also set to have his initial court appearance at 1:30 PM. However, the other four suspects, whose court appearances are scheduled for December 6, are still awaiting certification to enter the adult court system.

Photos of two "persons of interest" seen on the viral video were released by the Metro police on Wednesday. These individuals have yet to be identified but are considered important to the ongoing investigation.

Authorities have revealed that there are additional videos associated with the incident that contain even more graphic content than the video circulating online. Steve Wolfson, the district attorney, stated that it will take weeks or possibly months before these videos are made public.

Beaver, Robinson, and Hernandez are expected to appear in court again on Tuesday, November 21 at 8:30 AM. Until their next hearing, they will remain in custody, facing the serious charges brought against them in connection to the tragic loss of Jonathan Lewis.
