Suspect in Roanoke Homicide Shot and Killed by Police

Roanoke, VA - Virginia State Police have identified the man shot and killed by police after he allegedly shot a Roanoke City Police officer. The suspect has been identified as 39-year-old David Adam McFall, a resident of Roanoke.
According to authorities, the incident took place on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at Melrose Towers, located on Melrose Avenue in Roanoke. McFall was approached by officers who believed he was a person of interest in a recent Roanoke homicide case.
