Police in Edna, Texas have apprehended a suspect in connection with the shocking murder of 16-year-old cheerleader Lizbeth Medina. The suspect, identified as Rafael Romero, was located by the Edna Police Department in Schulenburg, Texas on Saturday.

Romero was arrested by the Texas Rangers, a division of the state's Department of Public Safety responsible for investigating major violent crimes.
