An 18-year-old resident of Stoughton, Massachusetts, has been arrested and is now facing charges in connection with a shooting that took place in the town on Saturday. The incident occurred near the intersection of Central Street and Greenwood Avenue, prompting a swift response from the Stoughton Police Department.

According to Stoughton Police Chief Donna McNamara, officers promptly arrived at the scene after receiving a report of shots fired. Marc Francois was then apprehended near a nearby condominium complex, and a firearm was recovered by the authorities.
