State Police Seek Public's Assistance in Locating Missing Autistic Individual in Jackson and Lansing Regions

Jonesville, MI - State police officials have launched a search for Mahrissa Liane Perkins, a 30-year-old Jonesville woman who has been reported missing by her parents. Perkins, who has been diagnosed with autism and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old child, was last seen on Thursday, October 19 at 5 p.m.

State police, utilizing social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), have notified the public that Perkins may potentially be with a friend in either the Lansing or Jackson regions. Authorities have also disclosed that Perkins is in the process of transitioning from female to male and may respond to the name Kyle.

Described as having short green hair and a mustache, Perkins stands at a height of 5 feet, 3 inches, and has a weight of 280 lbs. Given the vulnerable nature of Perkins' condition, immediate action is being taken to locate the missing individual.

The state police Jackson post has urged individuals with any information about Perkins' whereabouts to contact them at (517) 780-4580. It is essential that the community rallies together to support the efforts in finding Perkins and ensuring their safe return.
