Shooting in New Orleans CBD Leaves Two Injured, Three Arrested

In a recent incident in the Central Business District of New Orleans on Wednesday (Jan. 17), two individuals were wounded and three suspects have been apprehended by the New Orleans Police Department.
According to the authorities, a man and a woman were transported to the hospital, although the extent of their injuries has not been revealed as of yet.
Yesterday, the NOPD announced the arrest of Brycesion Jones, a 21-year-old, alongside two unidentified juveniles aged 17 and 16. Detectives successfully located the three suspects at a residence in the Seventh District. The NOPD Violent Crime Abatement and Investigative Team, along with the NOPD Special Operations Division officers, swiftly apprehended the suspects onsite.
Upon their arrest, the suspects were charged with various offenses including two counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, one count of aggravated arson, one count of obstruction of justice, one count of illegal use of weapons, and one count of illegal possession of a machine gun.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
