TARZANA, Calif. - Authorities are intensifying their search for Mei Li Haskell, 37, and her parents, Yanxiang Wang, 64, and Gaoshan Li, 71, after an unidentified woman's torso was discovered in a dumpster in Encino. The disturbing find has led investigators to the residence of the Haskells, where they found significant evidence.

Following the discovery of the torso on Wednesday near the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Rubio Avenue, Haskell's husband, Samuel Haskell, 35, was immediately taken into custody. He is currently being held on $2 million bail as the investigation unfolds.

Local resident Elle Benami, a neighbor of the Haskells, revealed that authorities informed her and Mei Li Haskell's friend about the disturbing findings inside the family's home on Coldstream Terrace. However, the details of what exactly was discovered have not been officially released.
