In a surprising turn of events, New Hampshire voters have expressed their frustration with President Biden and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) over the dismissal of the Granite State in the 2024 primary process. The decision to begin the Democratic Party's primary process with South Carolina instead of New Hampshire has sparked outrage among some voters, who feel disregarded and angered by the move.

The absence of President Biden's name on the primary ballot has left many voters feeling ignored and overlooked. Some have even proposed a write-in campaign to ensure that their voices are heard, despite the DNC's dismissal of the New Hampshire primary as irrelevant. However, not all voters are in support of this proposal, questioning why they should write in Biden's name when he hasn't given them the time of day.

Numerous New Hampshire voters have expressed their disappointment with the DNC's statement that the Democratic primary in the state is not relevant or real. They believe that the primary holds significant importance and should not be undermined. One voter stated, "We're disappointed this year not to have the Democratic primary, and that's why we're doing this because it's not meaningless like the DNC says. It really is meaningful."

Implications of President Biden's absence in the primary process have given rise to concerns among some voters. Representative Dean Phillips, a moderate Minnesota representative, launched his campaign to oust Biden in October, investing a substantial amount of his own money into what some consider to be a longshot campaign. With Biden not on the ballot, there are worries that Phillips could gain momentum in the race.

Recent polls conducted in New Hampshire indicate that Phillips currently stands at 10%, slightly ahead of bestselling author and spiritual adviser Marianne Williamson, who is making her second consecutive White House run. However, 63% of those surveyed expressed their intention to write in Biden's name.

Former New Hampshire congressional candidate Matt Mowers predicts that Phillips may perform better than expected in the race, cautioning that it would not be an upset for the incumbent president. Mowers stated, "It is going to be a closer-than-expected scare for Joe Biden."

President Biden has been facing ongoing concerns about his age and mental acuity as he heads into the 2024 presidential election. With historically low approval ratings and dwindling support among key voting blocs nationwide, Democrats are beginning to worry about his chances of prevailing against former President Trump. Some left-wing operatives have even suggested that Biden step aside to allow a different candidate a chance to succeed.

Mowers believes that Phillips' potential overperformance in the race could send a message to Joe Biden regarding the frustration among Democratic Party activists. This frustration may stem from overall dissatisfaction with his administration or possibly from the decision to undermine the first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire.

As New Hampshire voters voice their irritation with President Biden and the DNC's dismissal, the impact on the 2024 primary remains uncertain. The upcoming election will certainly test the strength of Biden's support within his own party and may reveal deeper divisions among Democratic voters.
