Tragic Plane Crash in Leyden Leaves Multiple Dead
LEYDEN - A small plane crash in Leyden, Massachusetts claimed the lives of multiple individuals on Sunday. The crash occurred on the border of Greenfield and Leyden, in the Leyden Wildlife Management Area.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aircraft involved in the crash was a twin-engine Beechcraft Baron 55. The details surrounding the incident remain unclear, as the plane crashed under unknown circumstances.
The Northwestern District Attorney's office confirmed that there were three people on board, but did not provide a specific number of fatalities. The identities of the victims have also not been disclosed.
