The incident took place at a residence located at 326 Bank St. on Saturday, shortly before 5:20 p.m., prompting a swift response from the local authorities.

Upon arrival at the scene, first responders discovered a 44-year-old Fall River resident on the porch of the home with a gunshot wound. Sadly, emergency medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
