According to the police statement released on Wednesday, officers encountered the suspect outside the center's entrance, armed with a knife. Authorities ordered the man to drop the weapon, but he reportedly moved towards the officers, prompting them to open fire. The police later discovered that the suspect had already stabbed two people within the center.
