Man Arrested on Murder Charges After Allegedly Shooting Three Relatives Dead in New Jersey Condo

The suspect, Om Brahmbhatt, now faces three counts of first-degree murder for the heinous act that took place in Middlesex County.
According to Fox 5, the shooting occurred on Monday at around 9 a.m. at a residence on Coppola Drive in South Plainfield. Police responded to a distress call and upon arriving at the scene, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Two victims, identified as Dilipkumar Brahmbhatt, 72, and Bindu Brahmbhatt, 72, were tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim, Yashkumar Brahmbhatt, 38, was immediately rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries later.
Authorities swiftly took Om Brahmbhatt into custody. Surprisingly, the suspect was present at the residence when the police arrived and surrendered without any resistance.
Although the exact relationship between Om Brahmbhatt and the victims remains unclear, police have revealed that the suspect resided with them. The motive behind this horrifying act is yet to be determined.
In addition to the three murder charges, Om Brahmbhatt has also been charged with three counts of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
