Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel took a tongue-in-cheek swipe at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after she sarcastically requested to be a guest on his show to promote her new book, "MTG." The Republican congresswoman, known for her controversial statements and confrontations with celebrities, sent a tweet to Kimmel on November 22, suggesting they discuss efforts to "SAVE AMERICA." However, Kimmel's response made it clear that he was not eager to have her on his show.

In his Monday night monologue, Kimmel quipped, "I guess I'm a Hollywood libtard that's part of the celebrity pedophile Satan club... until she has a book to promote, then 'I'd love to swing by!'" The late-night host proceeded to recount their previous conflict, which began with him referring to Greene as the "Klan mom" in response to her controversial remarks about Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Greene responded to Kimmel's initial insults by reporting his comment as a "threat of violence" to the US Capitol Police. Now, with her request to appear on his show, Kimmel amusingly remarked, "This woman called the police on me for a joke, and now she wants to be a guest on the show."

Expanding further on their past exchanges, Kimmel expressed both amusement and hesitation about inviting Greene to his show. He humorously pondered the idea of making her wait for an hour in the green room, a running gag involving actor Matt Damon, who often gets bumped from appearing on the show at the last minute. Ultimately, Kimmel revealed he didn't want to "screw with Matt Damon" or risk contracting "rabies."

During the same broadcast, Kimmel couldn't resist highlighting the disappointing sales performance of Greene's book. Mocking her break from "burning books to write one," he noted that it was ranked at number 65 in the Women's Biography category, trailing behind various other memoirs, including those authored by Kanye West's ex-girlfriend, Michelle Obama, and even Paris Hilton.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has become a regular target for Jimmy Kimmel's comedic jabs on his show. Last week, he criticized what he referred to as her "dumbest idea yet," following the release of her controversial book. Earlier this year, Kimmel also rebuked Greene for her comments comparing mask mandates to the Holocaust, asserting that there was "no comparison" between the two.

As the comedic feud between Jimmy Kimmel and Marjorie Taylor Greene continues, it remains to be seen if the congresswoman's request for a guest appearance on the show will ever be granted.
