Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, the daughter and former senior advisor to former US president Donald Trump, arrived in Israel on Thursday to express solidarity with the country as it wages a war against the Gaza-based Islamist terror organization, Hamas. The couple's visit commenced with a stop at Kfar Aza, a kibbutz decimated by a Hamas attack.

Accompanied by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, Trump and Kushner listened to testimonies from former residents of Kfar Aza, who shared their harrowing experiences during the Hamas attack that took place on October 7. The residents recounted the tragedy that unfolded, including the kidnapping and murder of neighbors and friends.

Shachar Schnorman, one of the residents, revealed that he and his wife were the only ones to return to the community after the devastating attack. With a tattoo on his hand displaying the date "07.10.23," Schnorman symbolically emphasized the resilience and determination of the residents.

During the visit, Chen Kotler, another former resident, presented Trump with a dog tag engraved with the words, "Kfar Azza is my home." As she handed it to Trump, Kotler expressed her hope that one day she could host them in her home.

Speaking passionately, Maor Morvia, another former resident, stressed the importance of defeating Hamas to ensure a safe environment for children to play and thrive once again in their fields.

In addition to hearing from the kibbutz residents, Trump and Kushner also engaged with Border Police, IDF soldiers, and ZAKA volunteers who were involved in saving lives and countering the infiltrating Hamas terrorists during the cross-border massacre.

The visit by Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner sends a strong message of support to Israel in its fight against Hamas. As the country continues to face the threats posed by the terrorist organization, the visit served as a reminder of the courage and resilience of the Israeli people.

The couple's visit is part of a 24-hour trip to the Jewish State, aiming to express solidarity and strengthen ties with Israel in its ongoing struggle for peace and security.
