In the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike that killed Sayyed Razi Mousavi, a senior Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) official in Syria, Iran International has revealed a list of individuals and units that could potentially be Israel's next targets. The strike, attributed to Israel, took place on November 25 near Damascus, marking a significant development in the ongoing tensions between the two nations.

Mousavi, the commander of the logistics bureau of the Lebanon Corps within the IRGC, played a crucial role in establishing Iran's presence in Syria. He had direct communication with the Syrian regime, facilitated the transfer of weapons, and promoted Iranian interests in Syrian territory. Under his command, the bureau carried out transfers of weaponry by land, air, and sea, including oversight of unloading sensitive weapons from Iranian passenger flights destined for Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Unit 2250, part of the logistics bureau, was established to facilitate the transfer of weapons and Iranian equipment to Lebanon through Syria. This unit possessed special authorizations from the Syrian regime, allowing them access throughout the country, including Syrian airports. Transfers often occurred while the Syrian regime turned a blind eye, exploiting the authorizations they themselves had issued. Israeli attacks have significantly impacted the unit's capabilities, but it continues to operate at the risk of further attacks.

Unit 2250 works closely with Unit 4400, Hezbollah's strengthening and cooperation unit led by Haj Fadi, responsible for transporting sensitive equipment from Syria to Lebanon. The Syrian regime grants full freedom of action to these units, even though it has repeatedly suffered the consequences of Israeli attacks against them.

In addition to Mousavi, there are other key figures within the logistics bureau who could be potential targets in the future. These individuals include Abdullah Abadi, Mousavi's right-hand man; Zin Shams Abu Andan, an influential figure within the bureau closely associated with Mousavi; and Hadi Feiz-Abadi, a senior logistics commander and representative of Unit 190, the weapon-transfer unit in the Quds force.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent speech issued a warning to Iran, but did not provide specific details regarding further Israeli actions against the country. The killing of Mousavi and the subsequent identification of potential targets by Iran International have intensified concerns of escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

As the situation continues to unfold, it remains uncertain how Iran and its proxies will respond to Israeli actions and potential future strikes. With Israel determined to prevent the advancement of weaponry on its northern front and Iran determined to maintain its influence in Syria and Lebanon, the region remains on high alert for further hostilities.

It is crucial for international actors to play a diplomatic role in deescalating tensions and preventing further violence, as any escalation in the conflict could have far-reaching implications for stability in the Middle East.
