Fitzcharles recounted the incident, revealing that he suffered multiple broken bones along with numerous cuts and scrapes. He was riding his motor scooter when the driver of the SUV, seen in the video, failed to stop at a stop sign. The SUV then collided with Fitzcharles, causing him to be dragged along before coming to a stop. Onlookers reacted in shock as the disturbing scene played out before them.
After the collision, the female driver stepped out of the SUV and surveyed the scene before returning to the vehicle to reverse a short distance. She exited the vehicle again, before ultimately getting back into the driver's seat and rapidly fleeing from the area. Authorities are now seeking the public's help in identifying and locating the suspect.
