Hamilton County Coroner Identifies Man Fatally Shot in Over-the-Rhine

The Hamilton County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was shot and killed on Saturday night in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. According to officials, DaMarcus Duffy, 26 years old, lost his life in the incident that occurred around 9 p.m. on Walnut Street in the 1600 block.

Cincinnati police responded to the scene, where they found Duffy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Christ Hospital for urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, attempts to save Duffy's life were unsuccessful.

Initially, the police had stated that Duffy was 28 years old, but the coroner's office clarified his age as 26. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and no suspect information has been released at this point.
