This comes just hours after authorities in Los Angeles announced their search for a serial killer who has allegedly targeted three homeless people.

The shooting took place around 5:35 p.m. near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Honolulu Street on the east side of Las Vegas, as shared by Las Vegas police Lt. Jason Johansson in a news conference held Friday night. The victim who lost their life was identified as a man in his 50s.

Among the injured individuals, three men in their 30s are in stable condition, while one is in critical condition. Additionally, a male adult teenager is also in stable condition. The identities of the victims have not been revealed at this time.

The suspect, described as a black man wearing a hoodie, fled the scene in a black sedan after the incident, according to police reports. Law enforcement officials are currently exploring if this was an isolated event or if there are any potential connections to the ongoing investigation in Los Angeles.

In Los Angeles, authorities are on high alert as they hunt for a suspected serial killer who has targeted homeless individuals. The three shooting murders occurred during the early morning hours on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. The victims, found sleeping alone outdoors, were shot by a lone suspect who approached them and then walked away. A surveillance image of a potential suspect vehicle has also been released by the police.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass issued a warning to people experiencing homelessness, urging them not to sleep alone due to the existing danger. "To the many Angelenos who have friends or family who are unhoused, please let them know the danger that exists," Mayor Bass emphasized during a press briefing on Friday.

As the investigations in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles continue, law enforcement agencies are working diligently to gather more information and apprehend the suspects responsible for these heinous acts of violence. The safety and security of the homeless population remain a priority, with authorities urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities in order to prevent further tragedies.
