The motorcade was accompanied by family members and US Secret Service agents acting as honorary pallbearers.
From there, the procession continued to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum in Atlanta, where Rosalynn Carter will lie in repose. Members of the public will have the opportunity to pay their respects on Monday night at the library and can also witness the motorcade's journey.
