A 22-year-old Florida woman has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) after her car slammed into the front of a shopping center on Sunday morning, as reported by the Clearwater Police Department.

According to authorities, the incident occurred just before 7 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the shopping center in response to a crash. Upon arrival, officials discovered that the driver, identified as Danya Trejo, had lost control of her 2010 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle veered across the median, crossed the eastbound lanes, and jumped the curb, ultimately crashing into the shopping center.

The car crashed through the front door and glass area of a dental office before coming to a halt inside the Skyline Chili restaurant next door. Fortunately, there were no individuals present in either of the businesses at the time, and no injuries were reported.
