In a tragic turn of events, authorities have apprehended a man in connection with the disappearance of a 10-month-old boy and the death of his wife. The heartbreaking discovery was made by individuals hunting on Kepps Crossing Road, east of Idaho Falls.

The man found at the scene was identified as 45-year-old Jeremy Albert Best, who was wanted by the Teton County Sheriff's Office in relation to the November 30th homicide of his wife, 38-year-old Kali Jean Randall. Best was located by Bonneville County Dispatch after receiving a call about an individual in a sleeping bag on the side of the road.

Following his apprehension, law enforcement officers located Best's vehicle on an embankment near the roadway. Tragically, the lifeless body of 10-month-old Zeke Best, the child who had been missing, was discovered at the scene.

After receiving medical clearance, Jeremy Albert Best was taken into custody and transported to the Bonneville County Jail, where he awaits his arraignment. The investigation into these horrific incidents remains ongoing.

The manhunt for Best began on the evening of Thursday, when the Teton County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call from a residence in Victor, Idaho. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found 38-year-old Kali Jean Randall unresponsive, and she was tragically pronounced deceased. Authorities believe that Best is responsible for her death before fleeing with their 10-month-old son in a black 1995 Chevy Tahoe.

Earlier on the same day, Best had been detained by law enforcement after being witnessed walking naked through the Swan Valley General Store. Emergency Medical Services evaluated him and transported him to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for further assessment of his medical and mental health concerns.
