In a tragic incident on Wednesday, 20 people lost their lives in an explosion at a firework factory located in Suphan Buri province, around 74.56 miles north of Bangkok, according to local police authorities. The blast occurred mid-afternoon, leaving many injured and the factory in ruins. Rescue teams have been deployed to the site to conduct a thorough investigation, but as of now, no survivors have been found.

The cause of the explosion remains unknown, and authorities are diligently working to determine what led to this devastating incident. The provincial governor, Nattapat Suwanprateep, stated that it is difficult to ascertain the fate of all the workers at the moment. Srettha's office released a statement, asserting that an inspection of the factory would be conducted to determine if it was operating legally and to investigate any potential negligence that could have led to the explosion. The prime minister stressed the importance of enforcing the law to the fullest extent due to the loss of innocent lives and injuries caused by this tragic incident.
