In a tragic incident, a 32-year-old California mother, Khadiyjah Aliyyah Ali Pendergraph, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering her nine-year-old daughter. The young girl's lifeless body was discovered in their Orange County home on Friday, prompting a swift police response.

According to officials, the Westminster Police received a call from a concerned family member requesting a welfare check on Friday afternoon. Responding to the call, officers arrived at the residence located in the 14100 block of Goldenwest St. in Westminster.
