Tragedy struck the family of Hollywood actor Jason Patric as his brother, Jordan Miller, was fatally struck by a bus earlier this week in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at around 5:05 am.

According to the Fort Lee Police Department, a N.J. Transit bus, driven by a 60-year-old male, was traveling northbound on Lemoine Avenue and attempting to make a left turn onto Bridge Plaza South westbound. At the same time, 56-year-old Jordan Miller, a Fort Lee resident, was crossing Bridge Plaza South at the intersection of Lemoine Avenue.

Tragically, Miller was hit by the bus and suffered serious injuries. Immediate CPR was performed, and he was rushed to Englewood Hospital in serious condition. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities from the Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Bergen County Prosecutors Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit, and the Fort Lee Police Department Accident Investigation Unit are currently investigating the incident, led by Fort Lee PD Sergeant George Koutroubinis.

Remarkably, Miller had completed 13 consecutive New York City Marathons before his untimely passing. He had worked as a "Customer Service Rep" for the NY/NJ Port Authority for 13 years. Miller leaves behind a loving partner, Julie Shrey, a devoted father, Jack Brodie Miller, and his siblings, Jennifer Miller and Jason Patric.

Jason Patric is a renowned Hollywood actor known for his roles in several films, including "The Lost Boys," "Rush," "Sleepers," and "Geronimo: An American Legend." He also appeared alongside Sandra Bullock in "Speed 2: Cruise Control." Patric has graced the screen and hosted "Saturday Night Live," and has made appearances in television shows like "Entourage" and "Wayward Pines."

In the midst of this tragedy, Patric's representative, on behalf of Miller's loved ones, stated that the family has no comment at this time. An obituary for Jordan Miller has been published, highlighting his life and his unfortunate passing.
