In a dramatic turn of events, an 11-year-old girl who was kidnapped from Wells County, Indiana, has been safely rescued in southwestern Wisconsin. The Iowa County Sheriff's Office played a pivotal role in bringing the abduction to an end.

According to Iowa County Sheriff Michael Peterson, the authorities were alerted to the situation when a vehicle at a Kwik Trip in Barneveld was identified as part of a Silver Alert for the abduction. The young girl was reported to be in extreme danger and in need of medical assistance.

Sheriff Peterson revealed that the law enforcement agencies were informed that the individuals in the vehicle might be armed. As deputies made their way to the Kwik Trip, they were informed that the vehicle had entered the Township of Dodgeville on US Highway 18/151.

Fortunately, the City of Dodgeville Police Department joined forces with the Iowa County Sheriff's Office and located the vehicle on Highway 151. Together, they successfully conducted a traffic stop, rescuing the 11-year-old girl from her alleged abductors unharmed.

Subsequently, three adults, identified as Zachary Delozier (27) of Edgemont, South Dakota; Sara Gaudino (23) of Rapid City, South Dakota; and Isaiah Schryvers (24) of Rapid City, South Dakota, were apprehended. All three suspects were found to have warrants for Kidnapping of a Minor.

The Iowa County Sheriff's Office, along with the Wisconsin Department of Justice DCI Agents, have launched an investigation into the incident. The focus now is on determining the circumstances surrounding the abduction and ensuring justice is served.

Sheriff Michael Peterson expressed his gratitude to all the individuals involved in the rescue operation, stating, "Being out there with this great group of professionals, watching all these agencies come together, taking these three adults into custody quickly, and removing this 11-year-old female from this situation so she can return to her family is an amazing feeling.
