Kuro Games, the developer of the popular game Wuthering Waves, has issued an apology to players for the various issues that have been affecting their gaming experience. In a blog post titled "Announcement on Wuthering Waves 1.0 Version and Future Adjustment Directions," the developer acknowledged the deficiencies in the game and reassured players that steps would be taken to enhance their gameplay going forward.

Described as the developer's first fully independent and globally published game, Wuthering Waves faced significant launch issues that impacted the enjoyment of players. Kuro Games expressed regret for these shortcomings and expressed its commitment to delivering a high-quality gaming experience to all players.

To address the concerns raised by the community, Kuro Games outlined several adjustments that are set to be implemented. These include a limited-time event called "Chord Cleansing," which will provide players with double the yield of Echo materials. Additionally, the progression system in the game will be adjusted in the upcoming 1.1 update to decrease the Shell Credit costs for developing Echoes.

The 1.1 update will also remove the reward cutscene of the Tacet Field and increase the yield of Echoes and Echo development materials. Furthermore, the developer acknowledged an issue with the Echo recycling system that resulted in players being short-changed. Kuro Games apologized for its failure to timely announce the hotfix that resolved the problem and pledged to credit all players with one million Shell Credit by June 10th as compensation.

Another issue addressed by Kuro Games was a mistranslation discovered in the description of the 5-Star Weapon Verdant Summit in certain languages. The developer assured players that the error had been promptly corrected and compensations have been distributed to affected users. Kuro Games also revealed that a comprehensive review of the localized texts in the game is underway to ensure accurate translations across all supported languages.

As a gesture of apology, players will receive a one-time compensation gift of five Forging Tides for the translation error. The developer concluded by affirming its commitment to continuously improving the game based on player feedback and resolving any remaining issues that impact the gaming experience.
