**Wrestling Legend Ric Flair Reflects on Tragic Loss of Former Partner's Son**
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair shared his heartfelt reflections on Sunday regarding the tragic death of Sebastian Kidder, the son of his former partner, Wendy Barlow. Flair, known for his emotional openness, expressed his grief and empathy in a post on X.
"I Have Spent Hours Wondering What To Say," Flair began. "After Hearing The News Of Sebastian's Passing, I Can Only Imagine What Wendy & Paul Are Going Through Having Lost A Son Approximately The Same Age In 2013. I Know The Pain Of Your Loss Will Be With You The Rest Of Your Life."
Flair’s sorrowful message underlined his understanding of profound loss, recalling his own son Reid Flair, who passed away at a similar age in 2013. He shared that the pain of such a loss is a lifelong burden, revealing that he thinks about his son every day. Flair candidly reflected on his parenting, admitting he often considered Reid his best friend rather than fulfilling a more traditional parental role. "Sometimes We Get So Close To Our Kids, We Forget That They Need Us In So Many Different Ways," he lamented.
Reflecting on his time with Sebastian, Flair addressed the joys they shared, expressing gratitude for the memories and the bond they built as Sebastian grew up.
Wendy Barlow, speaking to TMZ Sports, confirmed the heartbreaking news that 24-year-old Sebastian Kidder died by suicide at the family's home. "I am devastated and shocked," she said, highlighting the critical issue of mental health among young men. "This is an epidemic with your young men. And mental health."
The wrestling community, known for its close-knit nature, has rallied around Wendy and Ric during this unimaginable time of grief.
