### Woman Falls Overboard During Taylor Swift-Themed Cruise, Search Continues
A 66-year-old woman has gone overboard from the Royal Caribbean ship Allure of the Seas while on a Taylor Swift-themed cruise near the Bahamas. The incident occurred approximately 17 miles from Nassau at around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday evening, prompting an immediate search effort.
The U.S. Coast Guard, in coordination with the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, has deployed both an HC-144 airplane crew and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew to assist in the search. As of Wednesday morning, efforts to locate the missing passenger were ongoing.
A spokesperson for Royal Caribbean confirmed that an urgent search and rescue operation was launched shortly after the report. "We are working closely with local authorities and providing support and assistance to the guest's family during this difficult time," the spokesperson noted. They declined to provide further details to respect the privacy of the family.
This themed cruise, called "In my cruise era," departed from Miami on Monday and involves several hundred Taylor Swift fans, known as Swifties. Although the trip isn't officially connected to Swift, it features events based on her Eras Tour. Travel agents Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera, and Shelby Reyes from Marvelous Mouse Travels organized the cruise, which includes activities like a welcome cocktail party, karaoke, friendship bracelet swapping, "Taylor Trivia," and "Nightly eras outfit themes."
It remains uncertain whether the woman who went overboard was part of this specific fan group. Further updates on the situation are anticipated as the story develops.
