A 37-year-old woman from Wichita, Kansas, tragically lost her life after accidentally backing into a moving airplane propeller while taking photos. The incident occurred over the weekend at the Air Capital Drop Zone, a skydiving center in Derby, located southeast of Wichita.
Amanda Gallagher, the victim, was capturing images of individuals boarding and disembarking planes on Saturday afternoon when the catastrophic event took place. According to a report from the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, Gallagher was critically injured in the accident and was immediately taken to a local hospital. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
