Canadian actress Mamie Laverock, known for her role as Rosaleen Sullivan in the popular Hallmark show "When Calls the Heart," is currently fighting for her life after a tragic incident. Laverock, 19, fell from a balcony five stories high, resulting in life-threatening injuries.

The unfortunate event follows Laverock's initial hospitalization due to a "medical emergency" on May 11. Her mother, Nicole Compton, managed to arrive in time to save her daughter's life and rushed her to a local hospital. Laverock was later transferred to a Vancouver hospital, where her condition was initially unclear but displayed signs of improvement.

However, the family shared a heartbreaking update over the weekend. In a statement on a GoFundMe page that has raised nearly 14,000 CAD, they revealed that Mamie was escorted out of the secure unit of the hospital on May 26th and fell from a balcony walkway. She suffered severe injuries as a result and has undergone multiple extensive surgeries. Laverock is currently on life support, and her condition remains critical.

Following this distressing news, Laverock's colleagues from "When Calls the Heart" expressed their support on social media, urging fans to keep her in their thoughts and prayers. Johannah Newmarch, who portrays Laverock's on-screen mother Molly Sullivan, shared her devastation over the incident, encouraging fans to assist the family through the GoFundMe link.

Two other co-stars, Erin Krakow and Loretta Walsh, also expressed their solidarity by donating and encouraging their followers to do the same. The outpouring of support from the show's cast demonstrates the close-knit bond between them.

Mamie Laverock's career took off with her role on "When Calls the Heart" in 2014, where she played a nursing student named Rosaleen Sullivan. She received recognition for her talent, winning the 2015 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series in the age category of ten and under. Laverock also achieved a 2014 Joey Award win for Young Ensemble Cast in a Dramatic Series. She has additionally appeared in shows like "Psych" and movies like "The Hollow Child" and "This Means War" alongside renowned actors such as Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, and Tom Hardy.
