## Washington Commanders' Brian Robinson Jr. Out Against New York Giants
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. will miss Sunday's game against the New York Giants due to a hamstring injury. This marks the second time in four games that Robinson has been sidelined.
Robinson was a limited participant in practice throughout the week as he grappled with his hamstring issue. Despite initial hopes that he could take the field, a workout earlier in the morning revealed he wasn't fit to play. The Commanders, boasting a 6-2 record, made the final call to rule him out for the game, deeming his condition unsuitable for play.
Previously, Robinson sat out a Week 6 match against the Baltimore Ravens as he recovered from a right knee injury. In anticipation of Robinson's potential absence, Washington called up Chris Rodriguez Jr., a second-year back, from the practice squad on Saturday. Rodriguez is expected to take on more of the power running responsibilities typically managed by Robinson.
The Commanders will now look to adjust their offensive strategy in Robinson's absence as they face their divisional rivals, hoping Rodriguez can step up to fill the void.
