In a move to rival Amazon Prime Day, Walmart has just announced its upcoming summer sale, set to be the largest in its history. The sale will kick off on Monday, July 8 at 5 p.m. ET and continue until Thursday, July 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

During the sale, customers can expect significant discounts on a wide range of products, including electronics, toys, and more, just in time for the back-to-school season. Some notable deals teased in the press release include discounts on TCL TVs, Dyson vacuums, Keurig coffee makers, and Samsung Galaxy Watches.

For Walmart+ members, the perks are even better. Subscribers of the membership program, which currently offers a 30-day free trial to new users, will have access to the deals five hours earlier, starting at 12:00 pm ET on July 8.

While Walmart hasn't revealed a full list of items that will be on sale, they have mentioned that discounts will be available for electronics, home, travel, and back-to-school items. A preview of some deals includes the Switch Joy-Con controllers with Super Mario Party included for $69 and the LEGO Star Wars Hoth AT-ST set for $35. Additionally, those in need of new hardware can look into the discounted TCL TV and HP Victus gaming laptop.

As for Amazon Prime Day, the official dates have yet to be announced but are expected to take place in July. While there is speculation that it may occur at the same time as the Walmart sale, leaks suggest it may happen the following week.

Whether you're a fan of Prime Day or Black Friday, be sure to mark your calendars and get ready to snag some great deals during Walmart's massive summer sale. Remember, everyone will have access to the sale starting at 5 p.m. ET on July 8, both online and through the Walmart app.
