Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized a recent interview between Tucker Carlson and Russian President Vladimir Putin, describing it as "two hours of bulls-t." Zelensky, speaking from Ukraine, expressed disdain for the interview which he referred to as a lengthy session of misinformation. The Ukrainian leader emphasized that he did not have time to delve into the content of the interview due to ongoing issues with Russian forces and the recent suspicious death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny at 47 years old.
Following Navalny's death, President Joe Biden stated that Putin was directly responsible for orchestrating the killing of his opponent, condemning the act as evidence of Putin's brutality. The Kremlin has vehemently denied any involvement in Navalny's death, dismissing the accusations as baseless and discourteous.
During the interview, Putin, 71, dominated the conversation, discussing the history of Russia and Ukraine with little interruption from host Tucker Carlson. Putin himself later expressed disappointment in the interview, suggesting he had expected more aggressive questioning. The contentious interview mirrored growing tensions between Russia and Western nations, including the United States, over geopolitical issues and human rights concerns.
