### UCF Triumphs Over BYU in EA Sports College Football 25 Simulation

In a highly anticipated matchup, an EA Sports College Football 25 simulation forecasted a close game between Brigham Young University (BYU) and the University of Central Florida (UCF). The game, which saw UCF emerging victorious 21-17, was marked by dramatic twists and pivotal moments.

Prior to the simulation, the depth charts were adjusted to mirror the expected line-ups for the actual game. For UCF, Jacurri Brown was installed as the starting quarterback, reflecting Gus Malzahn's real-life decision. On the BYU side, Bruce Mitchell was retained as the center, with Sonny Makasini taking up the right guard position. Some roster adjustments were also made, such as removing UCF players who transferred mid-season, including kicker Colton Boomer.

The simulated game started with both defenses setting a strong tone. BYU was forced to punt on their first possession, and UCF's star running back RJ Harvey was tackled for a loss by BYU’s defensive end Tyler Batty. However, BYU’s offense began to pick up momentum in their third series, with Parker Kingston’s punt return placing them in UCF territory. This set up a 27-yard completion from Retzlaff to Darius Lassiter and a subsequent touchdown run by Hinckley Ropati.

BYU extended their lead to 14-0 with another touchdown by LJ Martin. However, UCF's Jacurri Brown swiftly shifted the game’s momentum with a 25-yard run followed by a 50-yard touchdown pass to Kobe Hudson, reducing BYU's lead to 14-7 by halftime.

In the third quarter, UCF continued their resurgence with an 80-yard drive culminating in a six-yard touchdown run by Brown, tying the game 14-14. BYU’s offense struggled in the third quarter, only managing to score through a 25-yard field goal by Will Ferrin, putting them ahead 17-14 with 11:55 remaining.

UCF responded with another strong drive, highlighted by a third-and-goal situation where Brown, chased out of the pocket, scored an eight-yard touchdown, giving UCF their first lead at 21-17. BYU made several attempts to reclaim the lead but were consistently stymied. After UCF's Jesiah Pierre sacked Retzlaff, the Cougars’ final drive began from their own 18-yard line with 1:40 left.

BYU moved into UCF territory and reached the 29-yard line but were unable to capitalize in the remaining seconds. Retzlaff’s final desperate heave to the end zone was swatted away by UCF defenders, sealing their 21-17 victory in the simulation.

Overall, the EA Sports College Football 25 simulation highlighted an intensely competitive game, with UCF coming out on top in a virtual preview of what promises to be a thrilling match-up on the field.
