The company made the announcements at its fourth annual Go-Get product showcase.

One of the notable additions is Uber Shuttle, a feature that allows travelers heading to the same destination, including select airports and event venues, to book a shared UberX ride at a fraction of the price. Users can reserve up to five seats in the Uber app up to seven days in advance and track their shuttle's location within 25 minutes of the scheduled pick-up time. Notably, these rides won't be affected by surge pricing.

Uber Shuttle is also partnering with Live Nation to offer concertgoers rides to select venues, including Chicago's Huntington Bank Pavilion, Pittsburgh's Star Lake Amphitheater, Charlotte's PNC Pavilion, and Miami's Hard Rock Stadium for sporting events. The service will also be available for airport shuttle bookings in certain cities, with specific details varying by location.

To further enhance shared rides, Uber is introducing pre-scheduled UberX Share rides. Customers can now save an average of 25% compared to the regular cost of an UberX trip by booking shared rides in advance. This feature is currently available in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, and Atlanta, with plans to expand to more cities in the future. The bookings can be made up to 30 days in advance and include price lock-in.

In addition to ride-sharing, Uber Health is launching a new feature called Uber Caregiver. This service allows users to add a designated caregiver to their profile, granting them access to certain app features. Caregivers will be able to book and monitor rides to medical appointments, order deliveries for medical supplies and groceries, and communicate easily with drivers or couriers through a three-way chat option.

Furthermore, Uber Eats is expanding its offerings with partnerships and new features. The platform is teaming up with Costco in select U.S. locations, allowing members and non-members to order from the wholesale retailer through Uber Eats. Costco members will enjoy additional discounts and can save on an annual Uber One membership. Uber Eats is also launching Uber Eats List, a feature available in New York City that provides curated food recommendations from both friends and foodies.

Lastly, Uber is extending its Uber One membership program to college students, offering discounted monthly rates and exclusive perks such as reduced delivery fees, cashback on late-night rides, and discounts on eligible Uber Eats orders. The program will launch in the U.S., Australia, France, New Zealand, and Mexico in the coming months.

With these new additions, Uber aims to provide more convenience and savings to its customers, whether they are traveling, ordering meals, or seeking assistance with caregiving.
