Tragic Accident at Disneyland Resort Claims the Life of Employee

A Disneyland Resort employee has tragically lost her life following a traffic collision backstage, according to authorities. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, prompting a rapid response from the Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire and Rescue.

Spokesperson Jonathan McClintock from the Anaheim Police Department stated that the accident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. when the employee, identified as Bonnye by Disneyland, fell from a moving golf cart and struck her head. Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, and the woman was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.

Despite receiving critical medical care, Bonnye unfortunately succumbed to her injuries two days later, as confirmed by McClintock. In response to the devastating news, Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock expressed his condolences and highlighted the company's commitment to supporting Bonnye's family and colleagues during this challenging time.

"We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her," stated Potrock.

Meanwhile, the Anaheim Police traffic detectives have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision. The focus now lies on gathering evidence and understanding what led to this tragic event.
