In the college football world, the spring transfer portal is buzzing with activity as several high-profile players have made themselves available, opening up opportunities for programs in search of talent. With the second window set to close, here are the top transfers still on the market.

Leading the pack is Jason Zandemala, an offensive lineman from USC, who is ranked No. 7 overall in the transfer rankings. Zandemala, USC's highest-rated signee of 2024, decided to explore other options last week. USC head coach Lincoln Riley acknowledged Zandemala's decision, emphasizing that not every player is the right fit for the team. Despite the departure, Riley remains confident in the program's appeal to potential recruits.

Another notable transfer is Cormani McClain, a cornerback from Colorado, ranked No. 22 overall. McClain, a former highly-touted recruit, was not able to immediately make the impact many expected at the Power Five level. However, his talent and speed make him a sought-after prospect in the transfer market.

Damien Martinez, a running back from Oregon State, is also among the top available transfers. With over 2,000 career rushing yards, Martinez is an attractive option for power conference programs in need of a high-quality ballcarrier.

Wide receiver Sam Brown from Houston is generating interest as well. Brown had an impressive season last fall, with 62 catches for 815 yards and three touchdowns. His ability to gain yards after the catch and contribute crucial first downs makes him an appealing target for teams looking to bolster their receiving corps.

The cornerback position sees another strong transfer option in Tacario Davis from Arizona. Standing at 6-foot-4, Davis led the Pac-12 in pass breakups last season and earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors. His size and skill set make him an intriguing prospect for teams in need of a shutdown corner.

Jacoby Matthews, a safety from Texas A&M, is also available in the transfer portal. Matthews played in multiple games over the past two seasons, showing his versatility and ability to make plays on defense.

KeAndre Lambert-Smith, a wide receiver from Penn State, is a notable graduate transfer. Lambert-Smith was the team's leading receiver last season but had a quiet end to the campaign. His decision to transfer brings potential opportunities for other programs in need of receiving firepower.

Jaden Rashada, a quarterback from Arizona State, is one of the top quarterback prospects available. Rashada, who joined Arizona State after an initial commitment to Florida, showed promise but dealt with injuries in his collegiate debut season.

Miami's Nyjalik Kelly, an edge rusher, is another coveted transfer. Despite playing in only four games last year due to injuries, Kelly's potential and position of need garner attention from interested programs.

Rounding out the list is Tyler Williams, a wide receiver from Georgia. Williams, a redshirt freshman, had limited playing time in his freshman season but is considered a promising talent.

As the spring transfer portal window nears its end, teams have the opportunity to secure impactful additions to their rosters. With several talented players still available, coaches and programs are actively pursuing these transfers in hopes of bolstering their squads for the upcoming 2024 season.
