**Ohio State Maintains No. 2 Ranking, Alabama Slips to 13th Following Upset**

Ohio State University continues to hold strong at the No. 2 spot in both the AP and Coaches Polls after their recent 38-15 victory over Indiana. Despite the loss, Indiana remains within the top 10, underscoring the Big Ten's presence with four teams in these esteemed positions. Additionally, Illinois made a return to the top 25, securing the 22nd spot.

On the other hand, Alabama's hopes for the College Football Playoff took a significant hit following an unexpected road defeat to Oklahoma. This loss caused the Crimson Tide to tumble six places, dropping from inside the top 10 to the 13th position. The fallout from this game might signal a bleak outlook for Alabama's playoff aspirations, pending the upcoming College Football Playoff rankings release on Tuesday.

Arizona State achieved the most notable climb this week, ascending seven spots to claim the 14th position after a thrilling home victory over BYU. Meanwhile, both Colorado and Army faced the steepest declines, each falling seven ranks after suffering defeats to Kansas and Notre Dame, respectively.
