In an Instagram statement, TLC announced that their shows at the NY State Fair and at Foxwoods in Connecticut had to be cancelled due to T-Boz's medical condition. She was immediately attended by a doctor and subsequently taken to the hospital for further evaluation. It was later confirmed that she has a severe abdominal blockage, and medical supervision is required.

The decision to cancel the shows was made based on the advice of T-Boz's physician, who instructed her to stay in the hospital overnight for a CT scan to determine the severity of her condition. TLC expressed their deep regret for the cancellation and extended sincere apologies to their fans and event promoters.

However, in a subsequent Instagram update, T-Boz assured her followers that she is "on the mend."
