Street Fighter 6 is set to receive its most significant update yet on May 22, with the inclusion of the highly-anticipated Akuma as a DLC fighter. Alongside this new character, Capcom has announced a series of balance adjustments that will affect every combatant in the game.

In a recent announcement, Capcom revealed that the upcoming balance changes will be accompanied by new combo trials, referred to as the Season 2 Combo Trials. These trials will feature updated combos for each character, allowing players to explore fresh strategies and approaches. However, it should be noted that some existing combos may no longer be viable due to the balance adjustments.

An image showcasing the changes to Zangief's Combo Trials was also unveiled. Zangief's Beginner Combo Trial 3, 4, 5, and 7 will undergo modifications on May 22, with a notification indicating the last update date for each trial. It is expected that Zangief will have additional updated combos in the Season 2 update, potentially offering players more diverse options.

Capcom has further revealed that Street Fighter 6's Training Mode will incorporate a new feature called "Reset Combo Damage." This option allows players to reset the damage on any combo, enabling them to optimize their practice sessions and fine-tune their skills.
