### Steelers Rule Out Jaylen Warren, Najee Harris to Lead Against Colts
The Pittsburgh Steelers will play without running back Jaylen Warren in their upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts. Warren is recovering from a knee injury sustained during the Week 3 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. His absence was confirmed on Friday after he missed practice sessions throughout the week.
With Warren sidelined, Najee Harris is expected to take on the primary running back duties. Harris demonstrated his capability in the recent game against the Chargers, where he logged 18 carries for 70 yards over 38 offensive snaps. Warren, who was pulled out by Coach Mike Tomlin during the Chargers game when he noticed Warren’s restricted movement, had participated in just 22 offensive snaps.
In addition to Harris, the Steelers plan to utilize Cordarrelle Patterson in a supporting role. Patterson, a 12-year NFL veteran, joined the Steelers offseason primarily as a kick returner. However, his versatility has proved valuable; he played 22 snaps against the Chargers, managing four rushing attempts for 33 yards and securing three catches on five targets for 15 yards.
"Whenever my number's called, I'm ready," Patterson said. "No matter where it's at on the field, I had to go play wide receiver, running back, that's whatever. Man, I'm just excited to be here."
As the Steelers prepare to face the Colts, they are set to rely heavily on Harris and Patterson to carry the load in Warren's absence.
