The security guard at the Cannes Film Festival is back in the spotlight after another clash with celebrities. This time, it was K-pop star Yoona, 33, who faced the guard's intervention during her red-carpet appearance. The incident went viral on social media, with a video showing Yoona being blocked by the guard as she tried to wave to fans. Despite her apparent frustration, Yoona handled the situation with grace.

Previously, the guard had a heated exchange with singer Kelly Rowland on May 21. Rowland pointed her finger at the female security guard while expressing her boundary and standing by it. The Destiny's Child singer also mentioned that other women who did not resemble her were treated differently by the security personnel.

In yet another encounter, actress Massiel Taveras found herself being rushed inside by the same security guard. Taveras retaliated by putting her hand in the guard's face. The incident took place as Taveras attended the premiere of the French film "The Count of Monte Cristo," where she sported a white gown with an embellished image of Jesus Christ.

Although Taveras did not directly address her encounter, she praised Rowland for her handling of the situation and emphasized the need for respect. Both Rowland and Taveras expressed concerns about the way they were treated by the security guard.

In response to the controversy, an anonymous colleague came forward to defend the female guard, stating that she was under pressure to ensure smooth movement on the red carpet and adhere to strict timetables. The colleague emphasized that security and safety remain top priorities for the event.

The clashes between the security guard and celebrities have sparked conversations about proper protocol and fair treatment at high-profile events like the Cannes Film Festival. As the incidents continue to make headlines, it remains to be seen whether any further action or resolution will be pursued regarding the matter.
