In the ongoing search for 15-year-old Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers, officials have concluded a search at a landfill in White Plains, Kentucky, finding no evidence or leads related to his disappearance. The search, which took place on March 7, was described as a precautionary measure to eliminate possible options and questions.

Authorities scaled back the ground search on March 4, transitioning to an investigation into the missing teen's whereabouts. Despite the lack of significant updates, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) spokesperson Susan Niland assured the public that investigators continue to work diligently, conducting interviews and rechecking leads.

Niland also addressed the issue of misinformation and rumors on social media, urging the community to share information about conversations Sebastian may have had, his preferred locations, and any individuals he may have mentioned. The TBI stressed the importance of remaining vigilant and encouraged people to search places where a teenager might hide, including their own yards.

With little progress after almost a month since Sebastian's disappearance, volunteers who had previously assisted in the search for another missing student, Riley Strain, redirected their efforts to Sumner County, where Sebastian's father has been searching. The United Cajun Navy, a nonprofit organization specializing in missing person cases, also joined the search but withdrew due to alleged death threats received by volunteers.

During a press conference, Sheriff Sonny Craddock reassured the community that the sheriff's office had not received any reports of threats against the United Cajun Navy. Additionally, he expressed gratitude towards all volunteers who have distributed flyers and kept Sebastian's name in the public eye. Craddock emphasized the dedication of the law enforcement agencies involved and credited their collaboration with keeping morale high.

Sebastian was reported missing on February 26 from the Beech area in Hendersonville. Described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 120 pounds, with dirty blond hair, he was last seen near Stafford Court wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation originally issued an Endangered Child Alert, followed by an AMBER Alert, based on investigative information suggesting an abduction and imminent danger to Sebastian's life.

Multiple agencies, including the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Nashville Fire Department, City of Hendersonville's first responders, Sumner County Sheriff's Office, and Shackle Island Volunteer Fire, have been involved in the search for Sebastian.

Anyone with information regarding Sebastian's whereabouts is urged to contact the Sumner County Sheriff's Office at (615) 451-3838 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. The community is urged to keep sharing Sebastian's picture and information to aid in his safe recovery.
